Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling, fluoride, sealants, and root planning.
• Assess patient teeth, bones, and periodontal tissues; document abnormalities or suspected conditions.
• Customize care to meet patient’s oral health needs.
• Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques.
• Assist the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Follow accepted professional dental practices and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene school.
• Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1-2 years of experience in a dental practice.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Dedication to providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care.
