Responsibilities: • Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment • Create dental impressions of patients’ teeth so veneers, mouthguards, etc. can be made correctly • Use x-ray machines to take photos of the patients’ teeth so the dentist can clearly identify cavities or other oral health issues • Explain good oral hygiene techniques to patients of all ages, such as thorough brushing and flossing twice daily • Advise patients on how to properly care for their teeth after a procedure or operation Qualifications: • In-depth knowledge of dental safety regulations and HIPAA regulations • 1-2 years of work experience as a dental hygienist • Certified to perform CPR • Capable of standing all day to assist patients • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills Compensation: $35 - $40 hourly
