Job summary

Gentle Dental Sheridan is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our Sheridan team and help us provide patients with high-quality preventive care in a collaborative, supportive environment. You will perform comprehensive hygiene and periodontal services and educate patients on oral health.

This full-time position offers competitive pay at $60-$65 per hour, strong benefits, and opportunities to advance clinically while building lasting relationships with patients and the dental team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Current Oregon Dental Hygiene License or ability to obtain one by the time of employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Applicable local anesthesia certification and other required credentials.
• Strong patient communication and education skills.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene and periodontal services within your scope of practice.
• Assess patients’ oral health and identify periodontal conditions.
• Partner with dentists to develop and support appropriate patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, periodontal health, and recommended care.
• Build trust through compassionate, personalized patient interactions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Follow infection control, safety, and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with the entire dental team to create an exceptional patient experience.
