Job summary

Advantage Dental+ in Seaside, CA invites a compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our patient-first team, offering industry-leading benefits and growth opportunities.

You will perform periodontal care, educate patients on prevention, document findings for the Dentist, and partner with staff to ensure an outstanding patient experience and smooth operation of the practice.

Qualifications

• Must hold dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions.
• Two or more years of experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with patients and team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental software.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in line with state board requirements for patient safety.
• Educate patients on prevention and links to systemic health.
• Chart periodontal conditions to support Dentist treatment planning.
• Collaborate with team to schedule and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

Primary responsibilities of our dental hygienists

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements
• Educate patients on the importance of preventing, diagnosing, and treating periodontal disease. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health
• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan
• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment

Qualifications to join us as a dental hygienist

• Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions
• Two (2)+ years' experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist preferred
• Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software
