Job summary

Southern Hills Dental care in Tulsa, OK seeks a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–4:00 PM at 3811 E 51st St. We prioritize preventive care, patient advocacy and a supportive, education-focused environment.

You’ll work with a robust hygiene mentor program, access to modern tools and ongoing education to enhance clinical skills and deliver exceptional lifetime care.

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in OK and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive dental hygiene care and patient education.
• Screen patients and document medical histories.
• Collaborate with the dentist on treatment planning and follow-ups.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in OK and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
