Southern Hills Dental Care in Tulsa, OK is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The role offers Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with strong support and mentorship to advance clinical skills and patient care.

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be an elite clinical provider and patient advocate, delivering lifetime care with the backing of extensive education and quality labs and supplies for exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in OK and an associated or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
• CPR certification and knowledge of dental procedures and patient history documentation.

Responsibilities

• Be an integral member of the patient care team providing preventive dental care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient medical history and screenings.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in OK and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
