Dental Hygienist - Suffolk, VA

Suffolk Complete Dental Care, located at 6255 College Drive, Suffolk, VA 23455, is hiring! We are seeking a part-time hygienist to join our family-oriented team and provide excellent patient care.

Work Hours:

• Tuesday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license in Virginia
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience:

• At least 2 years of clinical experience
• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records
• Desire to learn and grow clinical skills
• Ability to meet the office's clinical needs

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
• Prolonged sitting and standing
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds
• Availability for virtual or in-person training sessions
• TB test required prior to employment, arranged during pre-employment
