Position Overview

Affordable Dentistry Today Rockford is seeking a FT Dental Hygienist to join their team Monday through Thursday.

Role and Support

As a Dental Hygienist, you will be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. You’ll be an integral member of the patient care team, providing the time and care your patients need and deserve. We support you through our Hygiene mentor program and educational offerings to enhance your skills, ensuring you are fully supported in delivering exceptional lifetime care to your patients.

Team and Schedule

• Join an 8-person team that values collaboration, communication, and community.
• Our single doctor team believes in taking care of each other to better serve our patients.
• Work hours are Monday 8:00-5:00, Tuesday 8:00-6:00, Wednesday and Thursday 8:00-5:00.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
• Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
• CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X-rays, and electronic medical records.
• Desire to learn and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care.
• Ability to meet clinical needs as required by the office.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations, including sitting and standing for prolonged periods, lifting up to 45 pounds, and attending training sessions.
