Crabtree Valley Dental in Raleigh, NC is seeking a compassionate Dental Hygienist to join a patient-centered, collaborative team focused on preventive care and excellent patient experiences.

This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a work-life balance, competitive pay, and a monthly incentive program to recognize performance and dedication to quality care.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Dental Hygienist License required.
• Strong communication and compassionate, patient-focused approach.
• Current BLS/CPR certifications.
• Willingness to maintain OSHA/HIPAA training annually.
• Knowledgeable about perio health and gum therapy; good patient education.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical and dental history.
• Take high-quality X-rays; train in high-resolution digital imaging.
• Educate patients on oral health and the oral-systemic connection.
• Document restorations; co-diagnose to educate patients.
• Administer prophylaxis and periodontal scaling; deliver antimicrobial agents.
• Conduct oral cancer, saliva, and caries risk screenings; suggest therapies.
• Train in digital scanning and advanced diagnostics.
• Collaborate with medical and dental providers to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, insurance, and payments.
• Partner with business team on hygiene schedule management.
• Maintain positive rapport with patients and team.

What You'll Do

As a Dental Hygienist at Crabtree Valley Dental, you'll play an essential role in helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities Include

• Review patients' medical and dental history
• Take high-quality X-rays; train to become proficient in high-resolution digital imaging
• Educate patients on oral health, oral hygiene, and oral-systemic connections
• Document existing restorations, identify areas of concern, and co-diagnose to educate patients
• Administer prophylactic and periodontal scaling, plus delivery of antimicrobial agents
• Conduct oral cancer, saliva, and caries risk screenings, and recommend treatments/therapies
• Train to become proficient in digital scanning, leading-edge diagnostics, and periodontal therapies/technologies
• Collaborate with a team of medical and dental providers to support the best possible patient outcomes
• Educate patients on treatment plans, insurance, and payment collection
• Partner with the business team on hygiene schedule management and accountability
• Keep a positive rapport with patients and team members
• Active North Carolina Dental Hygienist License (Required)
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Current BLS/CPR certifications
• Willingness to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training
• Knowledgeable about perio health, comfortable with patient education, and competent with gum therapy
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and strong collaboration skills
