Role Description This full-time, on-site Dental Hygienist role is based in Pittsburgh, PA. The Dental Hygienist will perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including assessments, dental prophylaxis, scaling and polishing, and patient education on oral health and preventive care. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medical and dental histories, assisting in the identification and management of periodontal disease, maintaining accurate clinical records, and collaborating with dentists and support staff to provide coordinated patient care. The role also involves adherence to infection control protocols, use of dental technologies and instruments, and participation in practice-wide initiatives to improve patient experience and clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills in dentistry and dental care, with the ability to support comprehensive patient treatment plans.
• Solid foundation in hygiene practices, including dental prophylaxis procedures and patient education on oral hygiene.
• Knowledge of periodontal disease assessment, prevention, and maintenance protocols.
• Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Pennsylvania).
