Job description

Sign-on bonus $2000 paid over 6 months to welcome you to our practice.

We are looking for a gentle hand dental hygienist who will make the dentist's office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You'll ensure excellent customer service, proper periodontal diagnosis, and efficiency in providing prophylactic services. You must be a visionary and a team player working towards the common goal of perfect patient experience (PPE). It is imperative that you fit the culture of positivity and partake in a positive environment and relationship with the team and patients.

Be able to give comfortable injections and have gentle hands. Perform oral cancer screenings, TMJ assessments, and diagnoses regarding recession, abfractions, attrition, and erosion.

Be a team player and be coachable with a passion to learn and adapt to feedback and critiques.

Use technology such as the iTero scanner to educate patients. Invisalign knowledge is a plus.

Attention to detail and knowledge of various dental procedures (Perio-related and/or other dental procedures). Be well organized and reliable, fully competent in diagnosing various periodontal diseases and treatments, including but not limited to SRP, Perio Protect Gel trays, laser bacteria decontamination, pinhole surgery, and gum grafting.

Dental Hygienist Requirements:

• An associate’s degree in hygiene
• Hygiene license issued by the state
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to administer local anesthetics
• Ability to use an x-ray machine
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal)
• Comfortable with a variety of computer tasks
• Well-versed in oral hygiene and dental health topics
