We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing dental cleanings, conducting patient assessments, and assisting the dentist during procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for promoting oral health.

Responsibilities :

• Perform dental cleanings and oral prophylaxis
• Conduct patient assessments, including medical history review and vital sign measurements
• Assist the dentist during procedures by providing instruments and materials
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Take dental x-rays, Dexis and Dentrix experience
• Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic dental software
• Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
• Assist with front office duties as needed (scheduling appointments, billing, etc.)

Qualifications :

• Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
• Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation
• Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques
• Familiarity with dental software systems
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
