The Health Center Association of Nebraska (HCAN) is actively recruiting a Dental Hygienist to join a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Omaha, Nebraska, where you will provide high-quality, patient-centered dental care for all. Your Role:

• Assist the Dentist in delivering appropriate direct dental care
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients on proper home care to achieve and maintain oral health
• Perform routine treatment procedures such as prophylactic cleaning, scaling and root planing, coronal polishing, taking radiographs, application of sealants and fluoride treatments, and other related procedures
• Perform patient triage and initiate patient care as appropriate for walk-in patients

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene or an associate’s degree in dental hygiene
• Active license as a dental hygienist in the state of Nebraska
• Knowledge of public health principles and practices
• Demonstrated professional commitment to providing services to medically under-served individuals in a public health setting
• Minimum one year of experience preferred
