Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Active New York State Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

• Previous dental hygiene experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional dental cleanings and preventive hygiene treatments.
• Conduct oral health assessments and evaluate periodontal health.
• Take dental X-rays as needed.
• Review and update patient medical and dental histories.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Identify signs of periodontal disease and communicate findings to the dentist.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to provide excellent patient care.

Schedule

The practice is seeking a Dental Hygienist to work the following schedule:

• Monday: 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM
• Wednesday: 2:30 PM – 7:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Patient Volume:

Approximately 2 patients per hour.
