Fairview Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Mooresville, North Carolina, is seeking a compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our established family practice. This is a part-time position with one day per week: Monday 6:30am - 2:30pm, without lunch, offering patient-centered care and a supportive team environment.

You will build relationships, perform cleanings and periodontal maintenance, educate patients on oral hygiene, manage charting and radiographs, and collaborate with doctors to deliver

Formación

• Current North Carolina Dental Hygienist license.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused care.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training.
• Knowledgeable about periodontal health and patient education.

Responsabilidades

• Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.
• Help patients improve and maintain lifelong oral health.
• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and screenings with quality care during check-ups.
• Educate patients in oral hygiene technique and working with patients and their oral hygiene care.
• Review patient's history and charting.
• Partner with doctors to identify and communicate treatment needs and support with procedures as needed.
• Administer prophylactic treatment by scaling and polishing.
• Document area of existing restorations.
• Use digital radiographs and maintain accurate clinical records.

• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA and Infection Control training
• Knowledgeable about periodontal health and comfortable with patient education
• Experience with dental practice software
• Team player mentality - strong collaborator that is open, flexible, and has a positive attitude
