Massaponax Dental Care in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The position offers Friday 8:00am-12:00pm and Saturday 8:00am-12:00pm with occasional first Saturday of the month schedule.

Ideal candidates hold a Virginia dental hygiene license, possess an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, and have CPR certification. Experience with Dentrix and iTero is a plus, and a local anesthesia license is welcomed for new grads.

Part-Time Schedule - Dental Hygienist in Fredericksburg, VA

Massaponax Dental Care is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Schedule:

Friday (8:00am-12:00pm)

Saturday (8:00am- 12:00pm) - First Saturday of each month

Location:

Fredericksburg, VA 22407

Pay range: $60-$63 hourly

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Virginia and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year

This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment.
