We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated individual to join our team as a Dental Hygienist. We are a startup dental practice operating out of a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility. We provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages and dental needs, aiming to become a fast-paced, general practice. Our focus is on delivering an exceptional guest experience while growing rapidly. We are dedicated to providing the best guest experience while serving a diverse community. Our team is committed to creating a welcoming environment where both staff and patients feel valued.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations to evaluate oral health with assistance from a team member.
  • Take X-rays as needed. If available, an LDA or X-ray certified dental assistant will take the X-rays.
  • Review and update medical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform infection control procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Utilize dental terminology effectively while communicating with patients and team members.
  • Document patient treatments and progress accurately in OpenDental electronic health record system
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Valid MN license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and dental terminology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.
  • Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes

Schedule:

  • Full-time or part-time

Pay: $48.00 - $52.50 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 – 37.5 per week
