Job summary

Baker & Ochs PC is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our private family dental practice in Michigan. You will have ample time to properly care for patients in a modern, safe, lively office environment and participate in patient education and preventive care.

The ideal candidate will have a Michigan dental hygiene license, be capable of explaining treatments, and possess excellent communication skills. Days offered: Tuesday 8:00 am -5:00 pm and Thursday 2:00 pm -7:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan dental hygienist license.
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft; training provided.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures including cleaning, scaling, root planing, and polishing.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions.
• Take dental x-rays.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories.
• Follow aseptic techniques and infection control procedures to ensure patient safety.

Your duties include:

Perform dental hygiene procedure, including teeth cleaning, scaling and root planing and polishing.
