Smile Bright Dental in Mahopac, NY is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join a well-established, one-doctor practice. You will perform cleanings, exams, and patient education using state-of-the-art technology and electronic records to enhance patient care.

The role emphasizes a four-day work week, no evenings or weekends, competitive pay, health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and a collaborative team environment. Local anesthesia certification is a plus.

• Minimum of 2 years of dental hygiene experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings, scaling, polishing, periodontal charting, and fluoride treatments.
• Review medical histories and complete patient assessments.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Schedule six-month recall appointments.
• Document treatment and maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix.
• Prepare and manage diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Collaborate with the dentist to co-diagnose and support treatment planning.
• Help create a comfortable, welcoming patient experience.
