Job summary

Matthew A. Stempowski, DDS is seeking a friendly Registered Dental Hygienist to join a solo-practitioner practice in Lorain, Ohio. You’ll deliver personalized preventive care and educate patients in a patient-focused environment with ample time for each visit.

Qualifications

• Licensed RDH in Ohio
• Strong interpersonal communication abilities
• Ability to educate patients about oral health and treatments
• Comfortable working in a solo-practitioner setting with patient-focused care

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality preventive dental care to patients
• Educate patients and answer questions to build trust
• Spend ample time with patients (60 minutes for regular cleanings, 90 minutes for new patients)
• Collaborate with the dentist and team to support oral health
• Administer local anesthetic (advantageous but not required)

As a Dental Hygienist at our office, you'll play an important role in creating the personalized, comfortable experience we strive to provide for every patient. You'll deliver high-quality preventive care while taking the time to educate, listen, answer questions, and build trust with the individuals you see. Our practice values quality care over quantity, which is why we allow up to 60 minutes for regular cleanings and up to 90 minutes for new patient appointments, giving you the time to provide attentive care without feeling rushed.

You'll work closely with the dentist and the rest of our team to support each patient's oral health while contributing to the welcoming, collaborative environment that sets our practice apart. While proficiency in administering local anesthetic is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.
