Eastside General Dentistry - Spartanburg, South Carolina Eastside General Dentistry is seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team in Spartanburg, SC. This position offers a consistent Monday-Thursday schedule with the occasional Friday half day. We are looking for a hygienist who is relational, patient-focused, and business-minded, and who is excited to contribute to a goal-oriented practice. While one year of experience is preferred, new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday: 7:45am - 5:00pm
• Occasional Friday half day

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• New graduates and seasoned hygienists are both welcome!
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
