About Dental Care of Sherrills Ford: Like all Heartland Dental supported offices, our practice is community-focused. With the support of a practice manager, a highly trained onsite team, and a vast network of experts, you’ll be well-connected to resources. Join a collaborative, communicative, and community-driven team of 13 members.
Minimum Qualifications: Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina, an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required), excellent knowledge of dentistry and hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, medical history documentation, CPR certification.
Preferred Experience: New graduates and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply. Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical records is preferred. A desire to continue learning and growing clinically is essential. Additional clinical needs may be required by the office.
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations, including sitting, standing, and lifting up to 45 pounds. Availability for virtual or in-person training sessions throughout the year. A TB test is required prior to starting employment, except in FL & TN.
