Job summary

Hutchinson Family Dental is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our friendly team in Hutchinson, MN. You will assess and enhance patient oral health, update X-rays and chart notes, and work within OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.

We offer a compensation package starting at $55–60/hour based on experience, plus a lucrative bonus program. Schedule is Mon–Thu, 6:30am–4:15pm with a 60-minute lunch, 3-day weekends are available for work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must have degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited program.
• Valid state dental hygiene license.
• CPR certification.
• Certification in local anesthesia administration.
• Laser certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and update dental x-rays and chart notes while maintaining equipment.
• Record narratives and probing depths for claims.
• Ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
• Sterilize and maintain dental supplies.
• Perform scaling and root planing and/or prophylaxis.
• Apply fluoride varnish and sealants.
• Serve as a point of escalation for patient and team relations.
• Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

As a Dental Hygienist, you will identify opportunities to discuss oral health hygiene of our patients as it relates to the mouth-body connection, including:

• Review and update dental x-rays and chart notes while maintaining dental equipment and x-ray machine.
• Record detailed narratives and probing depths for claims.
• Ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
• Sterilize and maintain dental supplies.
• Successfully complete Scaling and Root Planning and/or Prophylaxis.
• Excel with placing fluoride varnish and sealants.
• Serve as a point of escalation for both patient and team relations.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and the team.

Qualifications
