Gentle Dental of Haverford is growing, and we’re excited to add another Dental Hygienist to our family practice located in Haverford, PA 19041. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling.

To ensure our hygienists get off to a successful start, the hired candidate will undergo a short training program to build confidence and comfort when seeing patients. This is especially beneficial for new grads!

Previous hands-on experience is a plus, but we also encourage new Hygiene graduates to apply. The RDH we hire must have an active hygiene license for PA or be in the process of obtaining one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services to improve patients' oral health. Candidates should be enthusiastic about their work and committed to providing the highest level of care.
• Provide oral hygiene treatments and education under limited supervision, following state guidelines.
• Conduct patient screenings, medical history reviews, and dental charting.
• Apply fluoride and sealants; remove calculus, stains, and plaque from above and below the gum line.
• Offer nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
