Heartland Dental Heights Dental Center in Harker Heights, TX is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team. This full-time role operates Tue–Fri, 7:00–4:00, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a daily pay option.

Qualifications

• TX dental hygiene license current and active
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
• CPR certification

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care (SRP, prophylaxis, exams)
• Perform 60 min recare and 90 min new patient appointments
• Deliver patient education and preventive care recommendations
• Maintain accurate medical history and documentation
• Collaborate with doctor team to optimize patient outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in TX and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• New Graduate or years of clinical experience
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person)periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
