is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. Hours Needed:

Monday 8:45 - 6:00

Tuesday - Thursday 7:45 - 5:30, some Fridays

About Dental Care of Sanford

Like each Heartland Dental supported office, it is unique to the community and the patients it serves. With the support of a practice manager, a highly trained on-site team, and a vast network of experts across the nation, you’ll be fully connected to all the resources and support of Heartland Dental. Join a 10-person team that thrives on collaboration, communication, and community.

Minimum Qualifications: Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina, an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required), excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR Certification.

Preferred Experience: 2-3 years of clinical experience, experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall dental health maintenance. Clinical needs as required by office.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged sitting and standing. Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds. Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions throughout the year. A TB test is required prior to starting employment, arranged during pre-employment. Not applicable in FL & TN.
