Job summary

PALACIN DENTAL GROUP P A is seeking a qualified Registered Dental Hygienist in Florida to join the team. The role involves patient screening, cleanings, and assisting dentists with exams and procedures. Florida RDH license and anesthesia license are required, with 1–2 years of experience preferred.

Candidates should be friendly, outgoing, and committed to delivering a superb dental experience. The position is 28 hours per week and emphasizes bilingual English/Spanish communication and flexible

Qualifications

• Associate degree in dental hygiene or higher; state licensure as RDH in Florida
• Current Dental Hygienist licensure is required
• 1–2 years of dental hygiene experience recommended
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and safe dental practice guidelines
• Ability to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Dentrix experience is required

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and make them feel comfortable in the treatment area
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions
• Prepare sterilized equipment and assist the dentist during exams and procedures
• Take vital signs and record medical histories
• Perform preliminary exams and collect oral health histories
• Evaluate patients for gum disease, cavities, and infections
• Remove plaque, apply fluoride, and teach oral hygiene techniques
• Create dental impressions and take x-rays
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams
• Adhere to health, safety regulations and office policies
• Manage digital scans (Itero / Sirona / 3Shape)
