CCH is expanding our staff, and this may be a great opportunity for you to join our team. CCH participates in the NHSC Loan Repayment Program AND the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program (PSLF).

The Dental Hygienist provides clinical and administrative support, working collectively with the dental team, delivering dental hygiene services while ensuring the highest standards of care and practice efficiency. This role combines hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities, making it essential for the lead hygienist to balance clinical expertise with team management. The lead hygienist ensures that our patients (adults and children) receive high-quality hygiene services along with comprehensive patient-centered oral healthcare.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

• Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited education program.
• Active Michigan licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) and eligibility for appropriate credentialing.
• Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience.
• Ability to work cooperatively with staff and others involved in patient care.
• Knowledge of public health principles and practices; comfortable with community outreach.
• Proficiency with Electronic Dental Records.
• Experience treating patients of all ages.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to remain calm and perform effectively during peak activity and emergencies.
• Good chairside manner; helps patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
