Job summary

Iowa Primary Care Association, Inc. is actively recruiting a Registered Dental Hygienist to provide care at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Des Moines.

The position offers a full-time schedule of 32 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a team of two full-time dentists, one hygienist, and four dental assistants. The role includes eight operatories (two dedicated to hygiene) and EPIC Wisdom EHR.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of dental hygiene.
• Bilingual verbal & written English & Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides preventive dental hygiene care to patients.
• Sees on average 8 patients per day.

What is a community health center (FQHC)?

The largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities and populations.

With an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, patients can access comprehensive, coordinated services often under one roof.

Role Details:

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
• Full time position: 32 hours per week
• Sees on average 8 patients per day
• Provider team includes: 2 full‑time Dentists, 1 full‑time Hygienist, & 4 Dental Assistants
• Operatories/Exam Rooms: 8 operatories with 2 for hygiene
