Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in WI and an Associates or Bachelors degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall dental health maintenance
• Clinical needs as required by office
• No experience needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodations. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year
• A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, to be arranged during pre-employment. This requirement does not apply in FL & TN.
