Dentologie dental group is seeking a kind and patient focusedDental Hygienistto join our dynamic team at our Southport location!

Our Southport practice(3423 N Southport Ave, Chicago, IL 60657) is nestled in the heart of the Lakeview area, with plenty of shopping and food options nearby! Wrigley Field is just down the road, along with the Lakefront Trail running beside Lake Michigan.

As a member of our incredible hygiene team, you can expect:

• Excellent compensation:$50-$57/hr., depending on experience
• $3,500 sign-on bonus*
• Monthly Bonus Plan: earn up to anEXTRA $1,000!

Schedule:

• Monday: 7:30am-2:30pm (patients scheduled 8am-2pm)
• Tuesday: 1:30pm-8:30pm (patients scheduled 2pm-8pm)
• Wednesday: 7:30am-2:30pm(patients scheduled 8am-2pm)
• Thursday: 1:30pm-8:30pm(patients scheduled 2pm-8pm)
• Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm (patients scheduled 8am-3pm)
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in all dental periodontal services in which you are licensed to perform
• Assist dentist chairside during examinations
• Provide a 10-star Patient experience
• Contribute positively to an engaging corporate culture
• Prepares instruments and materials for procedures for your patients
• Make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair
• Instruct patients on pre- and post-operative procedures and provide oral health education including at home care
• Proficient in obtaining dental radiographs and intra-oral scans/photos
• Keep treatment records such as charting existing restorations, periodontal charting as well as planned treatment
• Monitor daily supplies for restocking
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following periodontal procedures as well as other dental treatment procedures completed by dentists
• Followinfection control protocol by preparing and sterilizing instruments, equipment, and ops

• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication & customer service skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Clinical knowledge, skills along with patient care
• Prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Registered Dental Hygiene degree from an accredited program
• Active Registered Dental Hygiene license within the state of Illinois
• Local Anesthesia certified
