We are seeking temporary Dental Hygienists to join our team. Temping offers flexible schedules and high pay, with all dental specialties available. Temporary positions are available throughout Long Island and the 5 boroughs. Temping provides flexibility and the opportunity to earn extra money on your own schedule. We offer excellent above-average compensation and OSHA compliance to prioritize your safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
• Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
• Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis
• Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g., remove plaque or apply fluoride)
• Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (demonstrating good brushing techniques)
• Give instructions to patients after procedures
• Take X-rays
• Assist dentists with treatment decisions for various diseases (including oral cancer)
• Maintain documentation and charts on each patient

Skills

• Experienced Hygienists as well as new graduates are welcome
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA)
