Job summary

Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our Primary Care Clinic: Neighborhood Union. Under the guidance of a licensed provider, you will help preserve dental health, prevent disease, and improve the well-being of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Dental Hygiene.
• Active licensure by the Georgia Board of Dentistry as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
• At least two years of experience in dental hygiene.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and terminology.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct oral examinations and perform dental prophylaxis.
• Provide patient education on dental hygiene, especially for those with chronic illnesses.
• Assist in community outreach, including health fairs and events (3-4 times per year).
• Care for patients of various age groups, including adults, geriatrics, and occasionally infants, children, and adolescents.
