Job summary

Gentle Dental Sheridan is hiring a Dental Hygienist to join our Sheridan team. You’ll deliver high-quality preventive and periodontal care, educate patients, and collaborate with dentists to develop treatment plans.

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
• Current Oregon Dental Hygiene License or ability to obtain one by employment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Applicable local anesthesia certification and other required credentials.
• Strong patient communication and education skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental hygiene and periodontal services within your scope of practice.
• Assess patients' oral health and identify periodontal conditions.
• Partner with dentists to develop and support applicable patient treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, periodontal health, and recommended care.
• Build trust through compassionate, personalized patient interactions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

What You'll Do
