A.T. Still University's Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU-MOSDOH) on the St.

Louis campus seeks a full-time, exempt Instructor Dental Hygienist to supervise students performing non-surgical periodontal procedures and provide clinical hygiene services with maintenance and preventive care. The role also involves supporting the clinical Quality Assurance program and reporting to the Assistant Dean, Clinical Affairs.

Qualifications

• Dental hygiene degree or associate degree with a related Bachelor’s is required.
• Knowledge of periodontal anatomy and NSPT program needs.
• Experience designing and implementing NSPT programs.
• Missouri Dental Hygiene license and anesthesia/nitrous certs required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per MO Dental Board guidance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in instruction and grading of non-surgical periodontal procedures.
• Participate in instruction and grading of clinical dental hygiene experiences.
• Attend faculty calibration meetings and professional development activities.
• Contribute to the clinical program as directed by the Assistant Dean, Clinical Affairs.
• Other duties as assigned.
