Job summary

Concorde-Career-College is seeking an experienced Dental Hygiene instructor to deliver high-quality education across classroom, lab, and online settings in California. You will develop curriculum, assess student progress, and model professional behavior while guiding students toward program competency.

The role requires a valid RDH license in California, a bachelor’s degree (or higher) with relevant health-related training, and at least four years as a practicing RDH.

Responsibilities

• Organize and deliver class objectives in a clear, concise manner.
• Foster and maintain a safe environment in classrooms and labs.
• Maintain training aids, tools, and equipment in classroom and lab.
• Keep curriculum up to date with industry standards and practices.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students achieve success.
• Identify at-risk students and create individualized success plans.
• Maintain relationships with students and stakeholders.
• Provide periodic reporting to stakeholders.
• Meet with students and staff to discuss instructional programs.
• Ensure interaction with students in online course components.
• Maintain attendance, grades, and progress records.
• Deliver engaging lectures and lab sessions on topics, procedures, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned
