Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College seeks a full-time Dental Hygiene faculty member to deliver didactic and clinical instruction under a nine-month contract. The role requires CODA standards alignment, development of course materials, and robust student assessment to advance open access and community workforce goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Graduation from a CODA-accredited dental hygiene program.
• Current subject-matter expertise and clinical experience.
• Must meet state dental or dental hygiene act requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic, laboratory, and/or clinical instruction per CODA standards.
• Develop and maintain course materials aligned with the curriculum.
• Use adult learner-centered teaching strategies and instructional technology.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Engage with students and colleagues and participate in professional development.
• Provide academic coaching, advising, and community outreach.
• Comply with college policies and safety procedures.
