Job summary

Great Falls College MSU is seeking a qualified dental hygienist to join the Dental Hygiene program as a full-time faculty member. The role supports student learning in classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings, and is ideal for hygienists interested in teaching, mentoring, and strengthening the dental hygiene workforce in Montana.

The faculty work with colleagues to maintain accreditation standards, support student success, and ensure the curriculum reflects current professional practice.

Qualifications

• Must have strong written, oral, electronic and interpersonal communication skills.
• License to practice as a registered dental hygienist in Montana with a local anesthesia endorsement.
• Two years of clinical dental hygiene experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, teach, and assess didactic, laboratory and clinical classes.
• Supervise and instruct students completing course and clinical requirements.
• Advise students in the dental hygiene program.
• Participate in college activities and committees beyond one’s discipline.
• Attend program meetings and collaborate with colleagues across campus.
