Stansell Dentistry Associates is a leading dental practice in Brier Creek dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated Dental Hygiene Coordinator to join our team!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Dental Hygiene Coordinator to manage the administrative aspects of our hygiene department, ensuring seamless communication between dentists, hygienists, and patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage patient flow and scheduling for hygiene appointments.
  2. Coordinate with dentists and hygienists to ensure efficient scheduling and communication.
  3. Prepare treatment plans and estimates for patients.
  4. Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits.
  5. Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  7. Communicate with patients via phone, email, and in-person to address concerns and provide updates.
  8. Assist with front desk duties, including answering phone calls, greeting patients, and handling paperwork.
  9. Participate in team meetings and contribute to improving patient satisfaction and practice efficiency.
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene or a related field preferred.
  2. 1+ year of experience in a dental office is a must.
  3. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  4. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Proficiency in practice management software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Curve) and Google Docs.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with insurance verification and billing procedures.
  2. Basic knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
  3. Bilingual or multilingual skills (English/Spanish).
