Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. seeks a dedicated Dental Hygiene Assistant to support the dental hygienist in patient care and efficiency throughout the hygiene process. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist during procedures, and ensure sterilization and cleanliness standards.

You will educate patients on oral hygiene, manage records, and support front-desk tasks to deliver a seamless patient experience. Prior X-ray/CPR certifications and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of proven experience as a Dental Hygiene Assistant or Dental Assistant.
• X-ray and CPR certifications required by state.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional Dental Assistant certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures with cleanliness and organization.
• Assist the dental hygienist during exams and cleanings.
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed.
• Maintain and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Update patient records and dental charts.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for a smooth patient experience.
• Handle basic administrative tasks like phones and patient paperwork.
