Job summary

Grandover Village Dental Care is seeking a Hygiene Assistant to join our 10-person team. You will work closely with our hygiene providers to support patient care and learn through on-the-job training in a collaborative, patient-first environment.

The role emphasizes room setup, instrument stocking, and using Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping, with no evenings or weekends. Training and career development are available within Heartland Dental's network.

Qualifications

• On-the-job training or certification may be required depending on state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong teamwork and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, and provide education throughout treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure quality care.
• Assist hygienists during procedures with preparation and instrument setup.
• Set up rooms for hygiene visits, stock supplies and maintain instruments.
• Utilize Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA/CDC guidelines.
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow.
