Job summary

Mor Smiles is seeking a friendly Hygiene Assistant to support our hygiene team in a fast-paced dental practice. You will assist chairside, prepare and break down operatories, sterilize instruments, take radiographs, chart hygiene notes, and help patients feel welcome and cared for.

The ideal candidate has X-ray and CPR/AED certifications and dental assisting or hygiene assisting experience (or we will train the right person).

Qualifications

• X-ray certification is required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Experience in dental assisting or hygiene assisting is preferred but training is provided for the right person.
• Reliable, organized, and eager to learn with a patient-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist hygienists chairside throughout the day.
• Set up and break down operatories for hygiene appointments.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Take radiographs (X-ray certification required).
• Assist with charting and hygiene flow.
• Keep supplies organized and stocked.
• Help patients feel comfortable, welcome, and cared for.
• Jump in wherever needed to support the flow of the practice.
