Buffalo Prairie Dental in Quincy, IL is seeking a Dental Hygiene Assistant to support the hygienist and dentist, prepare treatment rooms, take X-rays, and educate patients. You’ll join a team dedicated to outstanding patient experiences and clinical excellence.

The position offers a stable, full-time schedule with Monday–Thursday hours and competitive wages, plus comprehensive benefits such as medical insurance, a 401(k), and paid holidays and vacation.

Formación

• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Hygienist and Dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Prepare and maintain clinical areas, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
• Take and process dental X-rays. Complete digital scans as needed.
• Keep the operatories organized and patient ready for an exceptional experience
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
• Manage sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Support the team with other tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
