Dental Health Associates in Lexington, Virginia is seeking a Dental Hygienist Assistant to join our clinical team. The role supports the office and dental staff with treatments, patient care, and operations in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and sterilization.
• Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress.
• Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.
• Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of instruments.
• Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and recalls.
• Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with HIPAA & OSHA regulations.
