Job summary

Coastal Kids Dental and Braces - Point Hope in Charleston, SC is seeking a friendly Dental Hygiene Assistant to support pediatric hygiene care. You will help with room setup and breakdown, charting, taking x-rays, patient education, and sterilization as part of a fun, collaborative team.

The role offers a stable schedule Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a focus on quality care, growth opportunities, and a supportive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirement

Qualifications

• Assist with all hygiene care: room setup/breakdown, charting, x-rays, patient education, sterilization.
• Coronal polishing certificate and x-ray certification are a plus.
• Back office dental experience and strong communication skills are valued.

As a Dental Hygiene Assistant with Coastal Kids Dental and Braces - Point Hope, you will play a vital role in ensuring children have lifetime of beautiful smiles! If you have a heart for children, and enjoy working with a fun team of like‑minded professionals dedicated to quality care, we would love to meet you! The Hygiene Assistant is responsible for assisting with all hygiene care including room set up and breakdown, charting, x-rays, patient education, and sterilization.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:00a - 4:00p.

Key Skills for this role include:

• Coronal Polishing Certificate and X-ray Certification are a plus.
• Working knowledge and experience with dental digital charting.
• Back office dental experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
