Job summary

Gershenzon Dental in Chicago’s Loop is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Hygienist for part-time days. The practice emphasizes high-quality general dentistry and a safe, caring environment for staff and patients.

Ideal candidates have exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills, with Dentrix experience and local anesthetic certification preferred. Hours are daytime, Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 9 AM - 5 PM with no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Licensed dental hygienist and 5+ years of dental hygiene experience.
• Local anesthetic certification preferred.
• Dexis experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teeth cleanings and preventive care.
• Fluoride treatments and laser therapy.
• Periodontal charting and care.
• FMX sterilization support with hygiene assistant.

Job description

Exceptional Dental Practice in the Loop! Experienced Registered Dental Hygienist needed for our modern Chicago Loop office. We are a general dentistry practice committed to high quality care. We are offering part‑time hours and competitive salary. Salary will commensurate with experience. The right candidate should have exceptional clinical skills as well great interpersonal skills. Local anesthetic certification preferred. Dentrix software knowledge is a plus. Our practice is committed to providing a safe and caring environment for our friendly staff as well our wonderful patients.

Pay

• $55 - $65 per hour
• Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift
• No weekend shifts
• - Work Hours: Every other Monday, Tuesdays and Wednesday 9 AM -5 PM
• - Breaks: 60-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).
• - Overtime: Overtime available during busy seasons and paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
• - Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.
• - Holiday Shifts: No Holiday shifts required.

Job Description

• -Itero Scans once per year (will provide training)
• -Bitewings once per year
• -Periodontal Charting
• Job duties: teeth cleanings, fluoride treatments, laser, and periodontal therapy.
• You will have a hygiene assistant that will help with FMX and sterilization.
