A Day In the Life Of

As our new pediatric dental assistant, you will be responsible for providing hands-on support to our dentists and completing prep work to ensure the doctor is able to focus on care for patients. You will operate as our patients advocate by answering questions on dental hygiene or insurance, setting up appointments, or simply leading them to the exam room. By operating in this supportive role, you will ensure our patients leaves with a smile!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice
• Scheduling and rescheduling appointments as needed
• Assisting patients with filling out information forms
• Updating patient records
• Communicating with insurance providers to determine patients’ financial responsibility
• Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, and faxing

What You'll Bring To The Table

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Education:High school diploma or GED required
• Experience:At least 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred
• Skills:Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office software, outstanding telephone etiquette, exceptional organizational skills, and excellent customer service skills
