Job summary

Patterson Companies, Inc. is seeking a motivated Service Technician to install and repair dental equipment at customer sites. You will work with mentors to learn installations, follow checklists, and apply safety and regulatory guidelines while delivering first-class service.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills. Expect travel to local customer locations and ongoing training opportunities with Patterson Technology Academy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Strong work ethic and ownership of goals/objectives.
• Focused on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Requires basic computer skills and/or ability to use smartphone/tablet.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and/or repair dental equipment with general supervision or after training.
• Follow checklists and inspect all critical parts.
• Demonstrate knowledge of installation procedures and site protocol.
• Apply manufacturer and Patterson guidelines, OSHA, and related regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships through professional interactions.
• Communicate clearly with customers and explain technical information.
