Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant mechanical and/or equipment repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair dental equipment in clinics and labs.
• Calibrate and safety-test dental equipment with a certified technician for x-ray and nitrous oxide systems.
• Monitor equipment for damage or malfunctions and coordinate manufacturer repairs.
• Prioritize repair requests and inform faculty, staff, and students of status and timelines.
• Support facility maintenance and coordinate work with Campus Facilities or other departments.
• Check crash carts and emergency cabinets, maintain inventories and monitor oxygen levels.
