UT Health San Antonio's Dentistry Practice Plan is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to manage credentialing and privileging for physicians, mid-level providers, and staff across facilities. The role ensures licensure, appointments, and certifications are current, with ongoing CME tracking and compliance.

You will guide providers through credentialing processes, submit Medicare/Medicaid applications, and maintain accurate records in the credentialing system, supporting credentialing committees

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Three years administrative experience required, preferably in hospital/clinical settings.

Responsabilidades

• Guide provider through credentialing and re-credentialing processes and ensure completion of required documentation.
• Prepare and submit Medicare & Medicaid applications for enrollment.
• Prepare credentialing applications and provide missing documentation or corrections.
• Verify and track credentialing/re-credentialing across UT Health School of Dentistry and facilities.
• Enter credentialing data into the credentialing system.
• Maintain licensure/appointments compliance and generate expiring credential reports.
• Monitor performance between credentialing cycles and notify external entities of suspensions if needed.
• Obtain proof of professional liability coverage from departments.
• Support credentialing committee meetings with reports on initial and reappointments.
• Notify providers/departments of credentialing status and update system accordingly.
• Track continuing dental/medical education and provide documentation as required.
• Respond to providers, applicants, and hospital inquiries with requested documents.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
